About Me

I’ve always been drawn to the power of information and human connection—how the right message, at the right time, can educate, inspire, and even change lives.

My journey started young. At 15, I was organizing fundraisers and educational events to help youth in my small hometown navigate the realities of domestic violence, drug abuse, and other life-altering experiences. Growing up in a community that often struggled with these challenges, I felt an undeniable calling to create spaces for awareness, growth, and empowerment—a passion that has carried through every stage of my life.

Fast forward to years later, and I was attending school at Western Washington University, where I studied graphic design, marketing, UX/UI, and East Asian art—a blend of creativity, strategy, and global perspective that still shapes how I approach content today. I worked as a math tutor, a notetaker for disabled students, and even helped set up sporting events, balancing a mix of hard work, creative curiosity, and a deep desire to help others succeed. My early career in public relations and nonprofit digital marketing reinforced what I already knew to be true—when content is intentional, it doesn’t just inform, it transforms.

For the past seven years at SAP Concur, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most intelligent, empathetic, and creative minds in the tech industry. My role as a Content Engineer and Marketing Leader allows me to architect content ecosystems that not only drive engagement and revenue but also make work better for people. Whether it’s through automation, AI-driven storytelling, or UX-focused content strategy, my goal is to alleviate friction, reduce frustration, and create clarity in a world full of noise.

Looking back, there’s a common thread in everything I do: I care deeply about the human experience. I was raised in the mountains, on a farm, with a pique curiosity for what it would be like to collaborate in a city, create in a fast-paced environment, and challenge the status quo. I’ve spent my career not just building content—but building content that matters. I’ve challenged my own mindset, broken through barriers, and pushed myself to show up differently—to lead with compassion, to engineer content that is both strategic and human, and to help shape the way people think, work, and connect in this world.

Marketing, in today’s information economy, has the power to do much more than just sell. It can ignite ideas, shift perceptions, and create real change. That’s what drives me every day—to build content that works smarter, scales seamlessly, and most importantly, inspires.

  • Achiever Mentality.

I have an internal fire burning inside me to do more and achieve more every day. My relentless need for achievement brings me the energy I need to accomplish new tasks and face challenges; the power supply to set the pace and define new levels of productivity; the theme that keeps me moving.

  • Harmonious Collaborator.

Harmony is one of my guiding values. I know, and respect, that the people around me hold differing views. However, I believe there is little to be gained from conflict, so I seek to hold them to a minimum. As a project manager, this helps me find common ground, increases the productivity and efficiency of meetings, and harmonizes those around me to seek consensus and support.

  • Innovation Driven.

I love innovating processes and collaborating to explore new ideas. I’ve always enjoyed learning and challenging myself to push my creativity and increase efficiency and satisfaction of everyone that’s involved.

  • Empathetic Listener.

I can sense the emotions of those around me. I can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings are my own. Intuitively, I can see the world through their eyes and share their perspective. This strength enables me to be an excellent relationship builder and designer engaged in the goal of the stakeholder.

  • Futuristic Strategist.

The future fascinates me. I love to think in detail what the future might hold and use this ability to keep driving others forward. Whether it’s a better product, a better team, a better life, or a better world — I pull inspiration from innovation and improvement. I am a dreamer who sees visions of what could be and uses them to energize others.

  • Restorative Attitude.

I love to solve problems and bring things back to life. The challenge of analyzing the symptoms, identifying what is wrong, and finding the solution gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I particularly enjoy seeking out problems I have met many times before and that I am confident I can fix. This includes restoring old pieces of content into new formats and optimizing buying experiences.
